There is not a particular one in mind…just be sure that when you do try to open a credit card, be sure to check out their rates. Some credit card companies’ rates are outrageous!!!
You shouldn’t have a problem opening another credit card because since you just filed, creditors know that you can’t file another chapter 7 for another 8 years.
Their is no “GOOD” credit card! But if you must have one I use Orchard Bank but you can also use Capital One. Either one will charge you big bucks to use their credit card, something like fifty dollars a year! Not to mention the percentage rate for having a balance. Be very careful what you do this time around again. Learn from your previous mistakes and not get carried away with credit, its not worth it in my opinion.
Who is your bank? Ask them who is the carrier for the cards there. Many have visa and master card, either one can be set up with your bank. Also, if they will limit your credit, try and always keep 2,500 for the next 2 years. After wards apply for a small credit limit with a clothing store for about another year. Within the next few years you will be able to apply for an unsecured card. May God help you restore your finances.
