Question by Candice l: Counseling Psychology? A good career path compared to Clinical?
I enjoy counselling psych a lot more than diagnosing disorders with clinical. Is counselling psych less prestigious or does it pay less. Also I would consider psychiatry but I feel the same way and want to actually deal with the problems rather than just medicate them? Any advice?

Counseling psychologists can earn as much as 5 for a 45 minute session in some metropolitan areas. I think that for those rewards, they are glad to ignore any notions that clinical psychologists have more “prestige”.
